Despite knowning about Poland's elective monarchy and it's support heir option, I never really played with it in other games. So I decided to give it a go and see what would happen. Under the heir tab, it says I have a 23% chance of having my heir put on Poland's throne, a slim chance.

I think it gives a relations boost, but that doesn't seem terribly valuable. It's mostly about timing. At some point they will become an Absolute Monarchy and then you want your heir on the throne. You also get the same dynasty relation bonuses just like any other country might with a same dynasty heir.
